Copper Edges Lower In Early U.S. Trading, Remains In Recent Range

Copper ticked down in the early stages of U.S. trading Monday, giving back some of the gains that took place during the previous session. The move kept the metal in a trading range near a high set early last week.

Copper for July delivery ticked down 2.1 cents in early trading to reach $3.60 per pound. On Friday, copper gained early in the day, but gave up some of its gains through the rest of the session.
