Uranium explorer Brinkley Mining saw its shares rise sharply as it confirmed it had received an early stage bid approach.
“The company notes the movement in its share price today and confirms that it has received an approach which might lead to an offer being made for its shares,” it said in a brief statement.

South Dakota Water Management Board Approves Rules For Uranium Mining

The South Dakota Water Management Board has approved new rules for injection wells for uranium mining operations proposed for the Black Hills region.
The water board approved the rules Thursday after listing to public testimony the previous day.
State environmental officials say it will be at least two years before any mining begins.
